    College

    Dr. Hal Wissel has over 300 wins as a college head coach. Hal rebuilt the basketball programs at Trenton State College, Lafayette College and Florida Southern College. Coach Wissel led Trenton State to the NAIA Tournament in 1967. Hal led Lafayette to a conference championship in 1971. Wissel led Fordham University to the 1972 National Invitational Tournament. Coach Wissel led Florida Southern College to the NCAA Division II National Championship in 1981. Hal also coached at the University of North Carolina Charlotte and Springfield College.

    Player Development

    Hal Wissel is well known for his ability to develop players. Coach Wissel founded Basketball World, an instructional venture featuring basketball camps, clinics, books, videos and DVDs. Coach Wissel’s highly successful SHOOT IT BETTER Mini Camps are conducted worldwide for players ranging from NBA to youth level.

    Wissel earned his doctorate in physical education and has authored two books and produced over five DVDs. Hal Wissel's best selling Basketball: Steps to Success has been translated into seven languages. Becoming a Basketball Player has been made into a DVD. Other DVDs produced by Coach Wissel include Basketball Shooting: Confidence, Rhythm and Mechanics; Basketball Shooting: Off the Pass, Off the Dribble and In the Post; Basketball Shooting: Make Your Shot Automatic; and Basketball Shooting: Creating Your Shot Off the Dribble.
