    • 2003-05, Assistant coach, University of Memphis, under head coach John Calipari.
    • Second youngest Division I head coach in the country when signed with Wright State University.
    • Selected as 2000-2001 Horizon League Coach of the Year by CollegeInsider.com�
    • Coached at the high school, college (D1) and NBA levels in the period of 310 days--the fastest anyone has ever gone through the three levels of coaching.
    • Inducted into the Five-Star Basketball Hall of Fame 2002
    • Assistant coach, NBA New Jersey Nets, (the youngest assistant coach on the bench in the NBA at that time).
    • Assistant coach, University of Massachusetts, under head coach John Calipari.
    • Coached in the 1996 Final Four with UMass – helped coach the Minutemen to a 35-2 record and a #1 National Ranking for 10 consecutive weeks.
    • Head coach for seven years at two Indiana high schools (Western Boone HS and Logansport HS).
    • Youngest person ever to be the head coach of a team in the McDonald's Capital Classic high school all-star game.

    College

    • 4-year starting point guard at Miami University of Ohio.
    • 2-time team captain at Miami University.
    • Along with college teammate Ron Harper (LA Lakers) led Miami University to consecutive NCAA tournament bids in 1985 and 1986.
    • 3 year Academic All-Conference
    • 2 year Academic All-American Finalist at Miami University
    • Single game assist record in Mid-American Conference—18 assists in a game
    • Still holds Miami University single game, season, and career assists records
    • Third all time steals leader at Miami University
